Controlling USB and removable media

Decide how removable storage is handled on your endpoints — from full access to read-only to blocked — and allow trusted devices by exception.

Removable media is one of the most common ways data leaves a company. Axionac lets you set the default and carve out exceptions.

Modes

  • Allow — normal access.
  • Read-only — users can read from a drive but not copy data onto it.
  • Block — removable storage is denied.

Trusted devices

Authorise specific devices by their identifiers so approved hardware keeps working while everything else follows the default. All removable-media activity is logged either way.
