Isolating a compromised device
Cut a device off from the network with one action to contain an incident, while keeping it reachable for your team to investigate and recover.
When a device is compromised, the fastest way to limit damage is to take it off the network — without losing your ability to manage it.
What isolation does
- Blocks the device's network traffic so malware cannot spread or exfiltrate data.
- Keeps the Axionac backend (and DNS/DHCP) reachable, so your team can still see and control the device while it is isolated.
Releasing isolation
Isolation persists until you lift it — including across reboots. Once the device is clean, release it from the dashboard to restore normal connectivity.
